Pirates legend adamant Bucs can either win ‘a treble or a quadruple’

Orlando Pirates, under coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, have been excellent in domestic competitions.

In the Premier Soccer League, Bucs have been doing well; they are currently on top of the table with 28 points from 12 games, two points more than second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns who have played a game more.

In January, the Buccaneers will be among the teams chasing the Nedbank Cup, a competition they have played in three consecutive finals, won two ans lost once – which was against the defending champions Kaizer Chiefs.

Can Pirates win three or four titles?

Former Bucs midfielder Benedict Vilakazi is convinced that the Soweto giants have what it takes to add more silverware before the season ends.

“Polokwane was painted black and with this final we are confirming our walk,” teh South Africa legend told iDiski TV.

“There is a journey that we are taking as Orlando Pirates. We are still walking we took two trophies now and it can be a treble or a quadruple, that’s where we are going.

“That’s why I was praying on the side that they do their things right so that when we go further then we know that we can collect everything,” Tso concluded.

Currently, club football has taken a break to pave way for preparations and Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) competition.
