Orlando Pirates have reportedly initiated discussions with Lamontville Golden Arrows to sign midfield duo Isaac Cisse and Siyanda Ndlovu in a significant double transfer ahead of the new season.
The transfer is anticipated to proceed smoothly during the upcoming off-season, given the strong historical relationship between the two clubs. The move to the Soweto giants is seen as a natural progression for both players, who have been instrumental in Golden Arrows’ successful campaign.
Arrows currently occupy sixth place in the PSL with 40 points after 29 games. Their recent 2-0 victory over Chippa United, in which Cisse scored, secured them a top-eight finish and a spot in next season’s MTN8 competition.
What would Cisse bring to the Buccaneers?

Cisse, a 19-year-old Ivorian who joined mid-season from Societe Omnisports de l’Armee, has made a significant impact. In 24 appearances across all competitions, he has scored four goals and provided two assists.
His high energy, tactical awareness, and box-to-box play have reportedly impressed the Pirates’ technical team, who are looking to strengthen their squad for another demanding CAF Champions League campaign. However, according to Africafoot, Belgian side Royal Charleroi SC is also closing in on Cisse.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old attacker Ndlovu has been equally influential. He has contributed four goals and eight assists in 30 matches this season. His stellar performances earned him the PSL Player of the Month awards for both September and October, along with the Goal of the Month award for a spectacular solo run against Stellenbosch FC on October 22.

Although previously linked with Mamelodi Sundowns, Sportswire reports that the Sea Robbers have moved ahead in the race to sign the highly-rated forward.
Golden Arrows have long been a source of talent for Pirates. If the deals for Cisse and Ndlovu are finalised, they will follow in the footsteps of notable players like the late Bheka Phakathi, Siyabonga Sangweni, Nkosinathi Sibisi, and Kudakwashe Mahachi who made the same switch from Durban to Soweto.
This would also be the first time since the 2012/13 season that Pirates have signed two players from Arrows in the same transfer window.
