‘Plumber Ouaddou thinks he is Pep! He should leave Pirates alongside his two sons Nemtajela & Msendami’

Orlando Pirates were eliminated from the Nedbank Cup after falling to Casric Stars in the Round of 16 at the Amstel Arena on Saturday.

Bucs had come into the match hoping for a win to make the quarter finals, but were undone 5-4 in the penalties following a goalless draw in both regulation and extra time.

The Soweto giants joined their traditional rivals, Kaizer Chiefs, and Mamelodi Sundowns in the cold. Holders Amakhosi were silenced by Stellenbosch in the Round of 32 but were undone by Golden Arrows in the Round of 16.

Have a look at what the fans said as sampled by Afrik-Foot.

Someone said Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will watch Orlando Pirates play in the Nedbank Cup. I guess he was talking about this game only –  Mbuso Mbhele

The moment I saw those guys walking out in Lupopo jerseys, I just knew they were going to win, because, of course, Lupopo never loses on penalties at Orlando Amstel Arena – Stellies fans

Wadu is a plumber, he just got lucky that Pirates bought quality players and is benefiting from Jose Riverio’s structure – Spitch Nquma Entsane

Those colours caused trauma for Pirates. Wise move by Casric to use blue and yellow – Refentse Madiba

We just need to be genuinely honest about our expectations as fans and the actual performance of the team. Truth be told, lies a huge gape of disappointment. Casric Stars proved that we have average players. We fans are just hyping them to a standard they’re not in – Nxalati Rec

Mofokeng will not survive overseas

I’m still saying we’re not taking the league. Like it or not. We’re not taking the league.   Wadu has favorites. He thinks he’s Pep Guardiola – Dayi Ka Skhova

So Masindi Nemtajela was scared to take a penalty. We can’t have three defenders take a penalty before him; he played the whole game. Where is the confidence? – Abongile

Wadu and his two sons, Masindi Nemtajela and Daniel Msendami, must leave my Pirates as soon as possible – Molwantwa Sambo

This is embarrassing, honestly. Can’t blame the coach because our lineup was strong, but ke some players are not serious – Stapura Dlamini

If I ever hear anyone saying Relebohile Mofokeng must go overseas! This guy will never survive overseas. Instead of pushing hard to secure their World Cup spot, they are dragging their feet. Hugo Broos must look elsewhere, these players will embarrass Bafana Bafana – Morris Mahlangu
