As the dust settles, Afrik-Foot takes a moment to revisit and highlight the top five most dramatic games that truly defined this unforgettable campaign.
- Marumo Gallants 2-0 Orlando Pirates (1 March 2025)
Perhaps the most significant upset of the season saw the Buccaneers, dramatically defeated by Bahlabane Ba Ntwa in a Betway Premiership clash at Toyota Free State Stadium.

- Kaizer Chiefs 1-2 Mamelodi Sundowns (28 September 2024)
Under the guidance of their then-new coach, Nasreddine Nabi, Amakhosi had commenced the league season on a notably strong footing.
However, their impressive run was halted by their first league defeat, suffered at the hands of the reigning champions, the Tshwane giants.
While Amakhosi initially took the lead through Ranga Chivaviro, Masandawanaresponded decisively with goals from Iqraam Rayners and Lucas Ribeiro Costa to secure the win.
- Mamelodi Sundowns 4-1 Orlando Pirates (8 February 2025)
