SA stars Mokwana and Mailula shine at respective clubs in North Africa

Two Bafana Bafana stars Elias Mokwana and Cassius Mailula shone in their respective clubs in North Africa.

Elias Mokwana netted Esperance’s second goal when the Tunisian outfit won 2-0 against Egyptian giants.

This was his second goal in the tournament having found the back of the net in their first group stage match against Djoliba AC.

Meanwhile, in the tournament, Mokwana has also registered two assists, one coming in a match against Dekedaha while the other one came when they took on Djoliba.

Moreover, in the Tunisian Ligue 1, the former Sekhukhune United winger has rattled the back of the net on one occasion.

MAILULA DELIVERS TWO ASSISTS FOR WYDAD

Cassius Mailula, on the other hand, provided two assists as Wydad Casablanca downed Jeunesse Sportive Soualem 3-0 in the Botola Pro match.

The win saw Rulani Mokwena’s troops climb to the third position with 22 points after 13 matches played so far.

Mailula has contributed one goal and two assists in 10 appearances.
