Bafana Bafana resume their quest to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in the next couple of weeks.
On November 15, the Hugo Broos-led team will be away against Uganda Cranes in a match that will determine Group K's winner. The game will be staged at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.
South Africa will then play host to South Sudan – who have not collected any points in the four games played so far.
Where will Bafana host the Bright Stars?
Safa has now confirmed Cape Town will have the privilege of hosting the crucial fixture on November 19.
“Yes, the game will be played at Cape Town Stadium and we appeal to the fans to come out in numbers to provide a festive atmosphere for the team in this final Group K match,” Safa president Danny Jordaan confirmed.
“A good crowd would be the perfect reward for a team that has withstood a tough qualifying campaign plagued by injuries to several key players. It would also be the perfect tribute to those players.”
It will be the first time in nine years Bafana Bafana will be playing in Cape Town. The last time was in a friendly fixture against Angola in 2015.
Uganda lead the race in the group having collected 10 points from the four matches played. The only time they have dropped points was on matchday one against Bafana Bafana.
South Africa have two wins and as many draws against Cranes and Condo Brazzaville respectively. They are second with eight points while Congo have four and in the third position.
