Orlando Pirates have been excellent in domestic games where they have won two Cups already.

The Soweto giants have also managed to go top of the table in the Premier Soccer League. They have played 12 games and secured 28 points in the process, two more than the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

One of the players who has been vital for the Buccaneers is Sipho Mbule who is among the new players who were signed in the off-season transfer window. He had initially played for the now defunct SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns and recently, Sekhukhune United.

Kamogelo Sebelebele, who is also in his first season with Pirates, has revealed how vital ‘Master Chef’ has been for the club.

‘He doesn’t listen to what people say’

“He’s a good person, a role model. You can learn one or two things from him. He’s so talented. Things that he does at training, when you, he’s too much, he is so talented, it’s crazy, it’s just a natural talent,” he told MSW.

“Sipho doesn’t listen to what other people say, he does what he does best. He is focused and does not listen to what people say about him.

“He has been playing the game for a long time, he works hard, is focused, and he guides us on how we should do things. He sits down with us and shows us the way,” Sebelebele continued.

“I wish him all the best at [AFCON with] Bafana Bafana. I want to congratulate him and the other players on the national call-ups. I wish him all the best. Seeing many players from my team in the national team means a lot to me.

“It motivates me because most of my teammates are there. So, I’m very happy, and I will also work hard to be back in the national team.,” Sebelebele concluded.
