Mamelodi Sundowns are closing in on one of the most exciting young talents in the Betway Premiership, FARPost reporting that Khulumani Ndamane is set for a medical with the club this week.
The deal, which has been in the works for some time, would see the 21-year-old sign with the league champions before heading straight back to TS Galaxy on a loan deal.
This move is a clear statement of intent from Bafana Ba Style, who are known for securing the country's top prospects. For Ndamane, it’s a massive step up and recognition of his incredible debut season with the Rockets.
The young defender, who's already become a key player for Adnan Beganovic's side, will get more crucial top-flight experience with Galaxy before fully integrating into the Sundowns squad.

SUNDOWNS COULD RECALL NDAMANE IN JANUARY
The arrangement allows for flexibility, as Sundowns could potentially recall the left centre-back in the mid-season or, more likely, have him join the team at the start of the 2026/27 season.
This phased approach benefits both the player and the clubs, ensuring a smooth transition. Interestingly, this isn't Ndamane’s first brush with a major transfer. As we previously reported, a potential move to Romanian club FCSB fell through.
It’s also no secret that Orlando Pirates had shown interest, but they never committed to a concrete offer. Sundowns, on the other hand, moved decisively.
Ndamane's journey has been nothing short of remarkable.
After leaving the Kaizer Chiefs DStv Diski Challenge team, he made a seamless transition to the professional ranks, racking up 27 appearances in his first season.
His impressive form also caught the eye of the national team selectors, culminating in a spectacular Bafana Bafana debut against Tanzania, where he earned a Man of the Match award for his full 90-minute performance.
