Iqraam Rayners, who scored twice in the 4-1 win at Richards Bay and is joint-top Sundowns scorer this season on three goals, begins on the bench. Matthews, who is level with Rayners and León on three, starts.

The substitutes are Lunga, Rayners, Aubaas, Zwane, Cele, Pieterse, Van Wyk, Ndlovu and Mvala.

The Brazilians face a Wiliete side who are unbeaten in the Girabola and top the table with 16 points from six games. It is the first meeting between the two clubs in any competition. Cardoso, who guided Sundowns to last season’s CAF Champions League title, has called the draw unfavourable.
