‘These Mamelodi Sundowns will play Leipzig? I’m shaking; play Mvala as striker & let Mothiba go’

Mamelodi Sundowns were held to a goalless draw by Richards Bay in a Premier Soccer League fixture staged at uMhlathuze Stadium.

It wasn’t a good result for the defending champions who needed maximum points to overtake Orlando Pirates and go top of the Premier Soccer League table. The Sea Robbers had earlier on shared the spoils with their traditional rivals Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium.

Imagine needing a win, and you put in Lebo Mothiba, who doesn’t have a single shot on target in seven years –  Sphah Fakude

Perhaps the universe intends for us to lose the league so we can win the CAF Champions League –  Tman Mehlabe

So this is the same squad expected to win the CAF Champions League? Ah! I wash my hands as a Khosi fan – Vho Mulalo

Sometimes it’s either you protect the queen or sacrifice the king. Cardoso is sacrificing both – Limzah Sly Ngabaza

Can we let Lebo Mothiba go, please? Rather play Mothobi Mvala as a striker. What instructions were given to Monnapule Saleng? – KgaboYellow Masogo

Be careful with the overhyping of Khulumani Ndamane

Sundowns are on and off under Cardoso. They are going back to the form they started the league with – Apropos Hitch

How are we going to score if players like Saleng, they always pass the ball to defenders instead of dribbling the opponents – Njabuliso Zwane

Games in hand are not points in hand. Stubborn Sundowns hold Richards Bay to a goalless draw. Richards Bay could have easily won this game – Bongani Ngwenya

This is the team that is going to face RB Leipzig! I am shaking for you guys; anyway, thanks, Richards Bay – Lesego Dhe One

We need to be careful with the overhyping of Khulumani Ndamane. I’m not yet convinced he’s the top player that everyone is hyping. Richards Bay got two clear goal-scoring chances through his mistakes twice. Thanks to Ronza for saving those chances – Senzo Oltes Mathenjwa
