Kaizer Chiefs are set to play Golden Arrows on Saturday in the Premier Soccer League assignment that will be staged at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
The Glamour Boys have been inconsistent this season, and anything less than a win might hurt their chances of finishing in the top eight and failing to qualify for the MTN8. Interestingly, Abafana Bes'thende – who are coached by former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician Manqoba Mngqithi, are also targeting that position.
One of the players who has promised to make an impact this weekend, in favour of Amakhosi, is Mfundo Vilakazi. The teenager has been doing well for the national U20 team Amajita who have also qualified for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Egypt in April.

Recently, the junior team played their counterparts Botswana in a friendly game, a match that Amajita won 10-1 on aggregate. Vilakazi scored two goals in the first meeting which they won 6-0, before providing two assists in a rematch.
‘My confidence has been boosted' – Vilakazi
The 19-year-old attacker is expected to play a part this weekend against Arrows and has since promised to carry his international form to the Glamour Boys.
“The Fifa break treated me so well because I was in camp with the U-20 national team, and we played so well, winning both our friendlies,” he said during a pre-match interview.
“This Arrows game is important because we need points, so that we can climb up the table. Coming from the U-20 camp, where I scored two goals in the first game and grabbed two assists in the second, my confidence has been boosted … it's so high, and I am looking forward to scoring again against Arrows.
I know Arrows as a team that plays a lot of crosses into the box, so we must be mindful of that but the most important thing is to focus on ourselves by playing our brand of football. As a team, our goal is to win all our remaining games and see where that will put us
“To our supporters, I'd like to say please don't give up on us. Bit by bit, we will get there because we're working hard.”
Chiefs have 29 points from 22 games, while Arrows have 24 points from 19 league outings.
