Premier Soccer League heavyweights Kaizer Chiefs' have struggled to win matches in the ongoing 2024/25 campaign under new coach Nasreddine Nabi.
The Soweto giants brought in the Tunisian tactician to help them get back to their rightful place in South African football.

The Glamour Boys came into the match against Marumo Gallants hoping to get maximum points in their bid to play in the MTN8 next season.
Playing at the FNB Stadium was also going to be a psychological boost for the players, since their fans were there to give them the support they needed against a team they beat in the Nedbank Cup and initial Premier Soccer League engagement.
Glody Lilepo's beautiful strike inside 10 minutes gave the Nabi-led men a deserved lead before Bahlabane Ba Ntwa responded in the 41st minute courtesy of Trevor Mathiane. In the 70th minute, the visitors found their winner through Daniel Msendami who capitalised on poor goalkeeping from Bruce Bvuma.
Chiefs have now gone six league games without a win which puts them out of the top eight. They are currently ninth on the table with 30 points from the 25 games they have played.

The next assignment for the Glamour Boys will be on Saturday when they host old rivals Orlando Pirates in the Premier Soccer League's Soweto Derby that will be staged at the FNB Stadium.
The last meeting between the teams ended 1-0 in favour of the Sea Robbers thanks to a late Patrick Maswanganyi strike.
