Kaizer Chiefs are winless in their last four Premier Soccer League outings and have managed one victory in six outings across all competitions.
Of the six fixtures, the Glamour Boys drew and lost while under the embattled coach Nasreddine Nabi, who has left the club, although the club has not yet officially confirmed his exit. Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef, who were serving as the assistant coaches, have been on the wheels at Naturena.
It is not yet clear whether the duo will be entrusted with the heavy task at the club, which, according to Chiefs' former goalkeeper Brian Baloyi, is a mistake.

He argues that failure to confirm another tactician at the helm is contributing to the inconsistencies seen by the Glamour Boys, who are competing domestically and in CAF inter-club competitions.
There is a lot of uncertainty at Chiefs
“I think the biggest problem at the moment is Chiefs, not the playing staff, but the coaching side. There is a lot of uncertainty on the coaching side. The sooner the club resolves it, the better,” Baloyi said as quoted by FARPost.
“Whether continuing with the interim or bringing in a new coach, it has to be resolved after what happened with Nabi. There has to be a decision to be made there. Coaches’ personalities are different, and one week players are trained by this coach and then the next by another coach.
“You are responding differently to different personalities. So, the sooner they resolve this, the better for the club because there is a lot of uncertainty. Right now, the Achilles Heel at Chiefs is resolving their coaching situation,” he concluded.
After eliminating the Angolan outfit Kabuscorp from the CAF Confederation Cup, Amakhosi play Stellenbosch on Sunday in the Carling Knockout. The two teams have met once already this season, in the Premier Soccer League, where Amakhosi claimed a 2-0 win.
