Chiefs lose another youngster to TS Galaxy

Kaizer Chiefs have lost another DStv Diski Challenge youngster to their Betway Premiership rivals TS Galaxy.

Amakhosi were recently crowned the champions of the DDC, winning the title for the first time since the competition’s inception in 2014.

The club boasts a wealth of young talent who have demonstrated their readiness for top-flight football. Many of these promising players are already training with Nasreddine Nabi’s side, eagerly vying for promotion to the senior squad.

TS Galaxy have snapped up the Chiefs reserve side captain Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi, according to iDiski Times. This is after he played a pivotal role, helping the Phefeni Glamour Boys win the DDC.

According to the report, the youngster inked a three-year deal with the Mpumalanga-based club becoming their first signing ahead of the new season.

Notably, the Rockets signed Puso Dithejane after he was released by the Soweto giants for refusing to be a ball boy in their match against AmaZulu FC.

The Tim Sukazi-owned outfit had to pay a compensation fee of R1.5 million in order to land the signature of Dithejane. Further, Galaxy signed Khulumani Ndamane who was with Chiefs development side.

Siyadumuza are also said to be circling for another Chiefs reserve player Siphesihle Tati whose stay at the club comes to an end at the conclusion of the season.

The 20-year-old has been with Chiefs for four seasons now and has had impressive for the DDC side even attracting interest from the SA top-flight.

He joined the under 17 side of the club at the age of 14 before he earned a promotion to the reserve team.

In 2023, Tati was part of the South Africa Under-17 squad that won the COSAFA Cup in Port Elizabeth. He was also called up to the Under-20 team that was going to play AFCON qualifiers that were later cancelled.
