Bafana Bafana have secured their place in the Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16, and now the full lineup of teams joining them has been confirmed.

Nigeria, Tunisia, and Tanzania booked their tickets on Tuesday, completing the list of 16 nations advancing to the knockout stages. The Super Eagles flew through their group in style, becoming the first side at this year’s tournament to win all three matches after defeating Uganda 3-1.

Meanwhile, Tunisia and Tanzania shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. That result was enough to see both sides progress, Tunisia finishing Group C with four points, while Tanzania made history by qualifying for their first-ever knockout stages despite not winning a single game.

Mozambique, Benin, and Sudan also joined Bafana Bafana in the next round, advancing as third-placed teams. Their tally of three points from two games proved stronger than the third-placed challengers in Groups A, B, and C.
