Bafana Bafana and IFK Varnamo midfielder Luke Le Roux has heaped praise on Themba Zwane, describing him as the “best player” he's ever played with.

Le Roux made the final cut this time around in Broos’ team having missed out for a number of times despite being in preliminary squads.

In the four matches he has played alongside ‘Mshishi’, Le Roux believes that these experiences have sufficiently demonstrated that the Mamelodi Sundowns star is the finest player he has encountered in his career.

“Look, I’ve played I think now four or five games with ‘Mshishi The Great’ as we call him, and I can tell you honestly, he’s the best player I have played with in my career. I think that says a lot,” said Le Roux in an interview with iDiski Times.

“Just the type of player he is, the way he moves on the field, the way he passes the ball, the way he moves, everything is just smooth, you know.

“He doesn’t lose the ball and he’s really good with the ball. He does what he needs to do and what he wants to do.”

In addition to his praise for Themba Zwane, Luke Le Roux has also highlighted Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams as one of the best players he's ever shared a dressing room with.

He’s impressed by Williams' leadership qualities.

“Also one of the best guys I’ve met in football. I’ve played with Ronwen when he was at SuperSport but I was a young player and he would always talk to me,” he added.

“He would help me, guide me, you know. But he’d also give me hard times when he needs to, tell me what is right, what he thinks is wrong, what I need to improve on. So yeah, I’m just grateful for guys like these.”
