The Betway Premiership delivered a spectacular action in four matches that took place on Saturday.

  • Richards Bay 0-2 Mamelodi Sundowns

The Brazilians continued their winning streak with a hard-fought 2-0 victory on the road. Arthur Sales broke the deadlock for the visitors, and Lucas Ribeiro Costa added a second goal to seal the deal.

This victory further solidified Miguel Cardoso’s position at the top of the league table. They now hold a six-point advantage over second-placed Orlando Pirates, who have two games in hand.

  • Golden Arrows 0-0 Polokwane City

Abafana Bes’thende halted Polokwane City's winning run. The Rise and Shine had entered the match on the back of two consecutive victories.

This was Arrows' second match since the departure of head coach Mabhuti Khenyeza. Musa Bilankulu and Kagisho Dikgacoi are currently leading the team.

  • Sekhukhune United 1-0 Marumo Gallants

Babina Noko accumulated three points against struggling Bahlabane Ba Ntwa.

The Lehlohonolo Seema-coached side look to have picked up their form now having won two games consecutively.

The Limpopo outfit has climbed up to the fifth spot on the table with 16 points after nine games.

  • SuperSport United 1-1 Stellenbosch FC

The last match of the day saw Matsatsantsa and the Cape Winelands side play out to a 1-1 stalemate at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. Jayden Adams scored for Stellies while Tashreeq Morris found the back of the net for United.

The Western Cape side remains in fourth position while Gavin Hunt’s men are sixth.
