Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are clubs with Caf Champions League crown, and it would've been appropriate to allow them the opportunity to unveil the modern-day trophy. Why use a Kaizer Chiefs legend? – Diratsahae Mokone

That's a football trophy, where's PSL, and that disgrace award they got for league champs? – Nthako Godfrey Rantshonyane

Sundowns need it more than Pyramids, at least on paper. They are going to the Club World Cup and must go there not as losers. Downs already dominate PSL, while that is still a task for opponents in the Egyptian league. Downs have more experience playing in this competition than Pyramids, who are rookies. It doesn't mean Downs are under pressure, but they just have a responsibility to be clinical and cling to this trophy – Christian S Mkhize

That guy Lucas Radebe has Kaizer Chiefs blood, so you're bringing bad luck to Mamelodi Sundowns – Kgomotso Rasepae

It does put the Premier Soccer League trophy to shame. This is a proper trophy –  Mphahlele Thakgatso
