‘Chiefs negotiating with Appollis’ parents! Pirates mean business but will still finish second’

Orlando Pirates recently confirmed the arrival of Bafana Bafana international Oswin Appollis ahead of the new season.

The 23-year-old has been a key player for Rise & Shine since joining them in July 2023. He was also a target for Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns before the Sea Robbers convinced him to join them.

Chiefs, Sundowns, and Stellenbosch, I feel sorry for them this season. Pirates will do a clean sweep of the league – Alifantica Mose 

Now, I'm pleased. I saw this guy when playing against Sundowns in his first season, and I said Pirates are going to sign him. Boom! They did; he is a thorn in the defense. At least Mofokeng got a replacement here – Os Kae

Now that's a major signing. He and Sipho Mbule. Though it won't affect your finishing position on the log every season. I would have loved to see him at Downs – Thulani Shabangu
