Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates players dominate the Carling All Stars XI that was revealed on Tuesday.

Voting officially opened for the Carling All Stars XI that will face the winners of the Carling Knockout final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Magesi FC on November 23 at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.

With Chiefs stars Ashley Du Preez and Mfundo Vilakazi starring in last year’s match, when they scored in the Carling All Stars XI’s 2-1 victory against winners Stellenbosch, and veteran goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune winning Man of the Match award, Amakhosi have four players in the team released on Tuesday.

Chiefs defenders Aden McCarthy and Xolani Mcossa, attackers Gaston Sirino and Naledi Hlongwane are in the team while Orlando Pirates have the quartet of goalkeeper Sipho Chaine, defender Jabulani Mokone, midfielder Thalente Mbatha and winger Relebohile Mofokeng.

Meanwhile, Sundowns trio of wing-back Asekho Tiwani, midfielder Sphelele Mkhulise and attacker Vincent Mokoena complete the team.

Five DStv Diski Challenge players have made the team while the rest are established stars at their respective clubs but fans still have time to vote ahead of the December 21 match.
