TS Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi believes four of the Rockets players have what it takes to play for the national team Bafana Bafana.
Galaxy started the season on a bad note, resulting in the exit of former coach Sead Ramovic. However, they have since turned the corner and are currently placed fifth on the table with 25 points after 18 points.
Under coach Adnan Beganovic, the Rockets have gone 13 games across all competitions without tasting defeat, thanks to the consistency of players, notably centre-backs Samukelo Kabini, Khulumani Ndamane, Kamogelo Sebelebele, and Kaizer Chiefs reject Puso Dithejane.
It explains why Sukazi believes the aforementioned players have done their best to prove they deserve a chance with Bafana Bafana.
‘They are national assets'

“They [Ndamane and Kabini] are the best defensive pairing in the league, I’m saying it loud and clear. They are national assets including Dithejane and Sebelebele, they deserve to be in the national team. It makes no common logic for them not to be called. They deserve a look-in, I mean in a proper national team, I’m not talking about COSAFA [squad] where you call anyone,” he said as quoted by Far Post.
“Call them in the proper national team, a [World Cup or AFCON] qualifier. Don’t say we’re building here; there’s no such a thing. If a player is ready is ready. I said the same thing about Bathusi Aubaas; eventually, it happened. And you now agree he’s at the top level. But then, because they are from TS Galaxy, other players who are very below par will be chosen, as we’ve seen. Other players survive by luck in the national team.
I’m saying that brutally, they survive with a comedy of errors. Coaches have to look at these things on merit. Kabini and Ndamane deserve a look-in in that leaky national team defence, that one that is playing. Of course, Puso, he’s a national team asset too. He’s been part of the junior national team, but his time will come. He also needs to be consistent,” Sukazi concluded.
It is interesting to see whether Broos will consider any of the above in the next assignments.
