DStv Diski Challenge: Chiefs, Pirates and Sundowns Invade KZN for Festival Showdown

Football fever hits KwaZulu-Natal this weekend as Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns headline the DStv Diski Challenge Festival at Princes Magogo Stadium. With the Betway Premiership on international break, all eyes turn to South Africa’s rising stars in this youth league spectacle.

The PSL Reserve League festival promises four thrilling matches on Saturday and Sunday featuring some of South Africa’s top youth sides, all in one venue.

KZN Derby Heats Up Diski Challenge Festival

Durban City, led by coach Daine Klate, will be looking to build on their emphatic 5–0 win over Magesi FC, their first victory of the season. After a rocky start that included a draw with Orlando Pirates and heavy defeats to TS Galaxy and Sundowns, the newcomers now face second-placed Richards Bay in a fiery KwaZulu-Natal derby. The Rich Boys will be eager to maintain their strong form and keep pressure on the league leaders.

Unbeaten Buccaneers Face Arrows Test

Table-toppers Orlando Pirates remain the only unbeaten side in the DStv Diski Challenge and come into this clash fresh off a 2–0 win over Sekhukhune United. Golden Arrows, with just one win from four, will aim to build momentum after edging Magesi 1–0 last weekend. Can Arrows halt the Pirates’ perfect run?

AmaZulu vs Mamelodi Sundowns – 13h00

Top Four Clash: Usuthu vs Masandawana

Third-placed AmaZulu have been one of the standout teams this season, winning four of their five matches. They face Mamelodi Sundowns, who trail them by just two points and are coming off a win against Chippa United. With both sides in form, this could be the match of the day.
