The second round of the 2025/26 DStv Diski Challenge delivered drama, goals, and standout performances across the country.

Kaizer Chiefs continued their winning momentum, Richards Bay climbed to the summit, and Mamelodi Sundowns registered their first win of the campaign.

Here's a full recap of the weekend's action:

Chiefs Edge Stellies in Five-Goal Thriller

Kaizer Chiefs continued their impressive start to the DStv Diski Challenge season with a thrilling 3-2 away win over Stellenbosch FC on Sunday. Goals from Neo Bohloko, Pheko Phago, and Matala Makhubo secured the victory for Amakhosi against last season’s runners-up.

The result lifts Chiefs to second on the log with six points from two matches.

Simelane Strike Sends Richards Bay Top

Richards Bay maintained their perfect start to the season with a narrow 1-0 win over Magesi FC. Sanele Simelane’s 34th-minute goal proved decisive, propelling the Natal Rich Boys to the summit of the DDC standings.

Sundowns Bounce Back with Convincing Win

Mamelodi Sundowns claimed their first win of the campaign with a commanding 3-1 victory over Marumo Gallants. The return of Gomolemo Kekana from national duty with Amajita proved pivotal, as he got on the scoresheet alongside Tshiamo Masisi and Ntokozo Siquba.

Padime Shines as Pirates Sink Siwelele

Mpho “Phopho” Padime made a memorable first start for Orlando Pirates, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win over Siwelele FC. After coming off the bench in the opening round, the young forward delivered a match-winning performance to earn the Buccaneers their first three points of the season.
