The 27 top-rated South African players have been revealed in EA SPORTS FC 27 and surprisingly, none of them plays in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Ranked at position 18,610 globally, former TS Galaxy forward Puso Dithejane is the lowest ranked of the top-rated South African players in EA SPORTS FC 27 with an overall score of 57.

The Chicago Fire forward, who is in top form after scoring two goals in his last three games, has pace as his strongest point with 78 points, while his shooting is rated at 51, passing 47, dribbling 60, physicality at 56 while defending is his lowest point with a score of 38.

19. Waylon Renecke

Next on the list is 20-year-old defender Waylon Renecke, who left Danish giants FC Copenhagen for Swedish club Hammarby IF last month.

Renecke, ranked 16,852 globally, has a total score of 60 with his strongest attribute being pace where he scores 71 points while physicality is at 63, defending 59, dribbling 48, his passing rated at 43 while his shooting is the lowest at 26.

18. Tylon Smith

Another young defender on the list, former Stellenbosch FC academy graduate, Tylon Smith, who left English Championship club Queens Park Rangers for MLS side New England Revolution this month, makes the South African players on EA SPORTS FC 27.

Smith is ranked 16,649 also with a total point score of 60 with pace being his biggest strength at 72, followed by physicality 63, defending at 59, dribbling at 56 while his passing is at 49 and shooting his weakest point at 29.

17. Jaedin Rhodes

Midfield starlet Jaedin Rhodes, who moved from Cape Town City to Austrian side SV Ried, in June makes the list and is ranked at position 15,448.

The midfielder has an overall points score of 62, leading with pace at 75, with dribbling his next strength at 65, followed by passing at 59, shooting 57, physicality at 57 while defending is his weakest point at 37.

16. Kegs Chauke

English-based central midfielder Kegs Chauke, who plays for League One club Burton Albion, also makes the list ranked at position 14,236 overall.

Chauke has a total point score of 63 with his key strength being pace at 71, followed by dribbling at 65, physicality at 64 with his passing at 60, one point more than his defending while his weakest attribute is his shooting at 58.

15. Mihlali Mayambela

 Bafana Bafana forward Mihlali Mayambela, who plays in Cyprus for Omonoia FC, is next on the list, ranked at 13,711 with a total score of 64. Pace is his key attribute at 75, followed by physicality 65, dribbling 64, passing 59, shooting 58 while his defending is at 38.

14. Mohau Nkota

Saudi-based Bafana Bafana winger Mohau Nkota makes the list being ranked 12,287 globally with a total point score of 65. Nkota’s biggest strength is his pace which received 90 points, followed by dribbling at 67, shooting at 60 while his passing is at 53, physicality 46 and defending at 43.

13. Luke Le Roux

Bafana midfielder Luke Le Roux, who is angling for a move away from English side Portsmouth, is next, ranked 10,262 in the world, with a total point score of 66 with physicality his key strength at 70 followed by dribbling 67, defending 63, pace 62, one better than his passing while his shooting is at 59.

12. Kurt Abrahams

Forward Kurt Abrahams, who plays in Belgium with Beveren, is ranked 10,175 globally also with a total point score of 66. The right winger’s key point is pace at 80 followed by dribbling at 70 then shooting at 63. His shooting and passing are the same on 59 while defending is at 40.

11. Shandre Campbell

Young winger Shandre Campbell, who recently left Club Brugge for Belgian rivals Kortrijk, is on the list ranked at 10,163 globally with a total point score of 66. The former SuperSport United star scores highest in pace at 80, then dribbling at 72, shooting at 62, passing 58, physic 50 and lowest being defence at 27.

10. Siyabonga Ngezana

Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana of FCSB in Romania is among the top ranked South Africans, ranked 9,769 globally with a total score of 67. His physique is rated highest at 76, followed by pace at 73, defending 66, dribbling 58, passing 47 and shooting his weakest at 37.

Left-back Samukelo Kabini, who plays for Norwegian side Molde, is ranked 9,345 globally also with a total score of 67. Kabini’s strong points are pace and physicality both at 71, followed by defending at 65, dribbling at 62, passing 57 and shooting 34.

8. Olwethu Makhanya

Central defender Olwethu Makhanya, who joined Scottish giants Rangers this month, makes the list with a global rank of 8,130. Makhanya has a total score of 68. His strength is pace at 74 and then physic at 71, defending 68, dribbling 52, passing 46 and shooting at 33.

7. Bongokuhle Hlongwane

Forward Bongokuhle Hlongwane of Minnesota United in the MLS, is ranked 8,068 globally with a total score of 68, his key attribute being pace at 80, dribbling and physicality both at 70, shooting 67, defending 63 while passing is his lowest at 58.

6. Ime Okon

Central defender Ime Okon of German club Hannover 96 is ranked 7,876 globally with a total point score of 68, his biggest strength being pace at 77, then physic at 72, defending at 68, dribbling 59, passing 46 and shooting at 30.

5. Yusuf Maart

Former Kaizer Chiefs captain Yusuf Maart of SV Ried in Austria is ranked 71,49 globally with a total point score of 69, leading with pace at 73, dribbling 68, passing 66, defending 65, shooting 57 and physic at 54.

4. Relebohile Mofokeng

Ex-Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng, who secured a move to Belgian side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise this summer, is ranked among the top four South Africans at position 6,533 globally.

Mofokeng has a total score of 69, his main strength being pace at 78, followed by his dribbling 73, passing 66, shooting 60, physic 53 and defending at 37.

3. Mbekezeli Mbokazi

Bafana Bafana defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi of MLS club Chicago Fire is the third best South African and is ranked 4,199 globally with a total point score of 72. His key attribute is unsurprisingly physicality at 78 followed by defending at 72 while his shooting and pace are the same at 64, dribbling at 56 and passing at 51.

2. Lyle Foster

Striker Lyle Foster of English Championship side Burnley, is second on the list and ranked 3,990 globally. Foster has an overall score of 72 with his main attribute being pace at 78 followed by physicality at 72, shooting 71, dribbling 70, passing 61 and defending his lowest at 36.

Midfielder Gift Links, who plays in Denmark with Aarhus, is the top-ranked South African player on EA SPORTS FC 27. Links is ranked 1,741 globally with a total point score of 76.

His biggest attribute is pace at 94 followed by dribbling at 74, passing 72, physic 71, defending at 68 and shooting his lowest at 64.
