Ex-Chiefs defender: ‘My X-Mas wish is to see Nabi sign striker’

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Patrick Mabedi has expressed his Christmas wish for the club to bolster their striking options during the upcoming transfer window.

Nasreddine Nabi's side has struggled to create and convert scoring opportunities, significantly impacting their ability to win games.

Nabi himself has acknowledged the need for reinforcements, particularly in the striking department.

Mabedi also hopes to see the team improve their overall performance in the second half of the season.

MABEDI EXPRESSES HIS CHRISTMAS WISH FOR CHIEFS

“The team has been playing very well but they have been struggling with scoring most of the chances they create,” said Mabedi in an interview with Soccer Laduma.

“I know and believe that the coach has been looking at signing an experienced striker and my wish is for him to sign his desired striker this Christmas.

“That would be a great Christmas gift, not just for the coach but for the club as well. That's my Christmas wish for coach Nabi and Kaizer Chiefs.

“I wish also to see all the players maintain their great form. Yes, there have been poor results here and there and the players have mostly been putting up great performances for the team and I wish that would continue both for individuals as well as for the team.

“If they can do that it would be a great Christmas present to the supporters who have always been there filling up the stadiums in good and bad times.”
