Kaizer Chiefs suffered a shock 2-1 loss in the Premier Soccer League game played on Saturday at the FNB Stadium.
The Glamour Boys took an early lead courtesy of Congolese import Glody Lilepo before Trevor Mathiane and Daniel Msendami responded for the visitors to give them hope of finishing in the top eight.
Amakhosi are now outside the MTN8 positions; they have not won any of their last six league games, which puts them ninth on the table with 30 points following Royal AM's expulsion from the South African top-tier.
Former club's attacker Junior Khanye has now pointed out one player who he feels let down his teammates.
‘It is a problem'
“Poor from the goalkeeper, poor from Bruce Bvuma; just pile the ball to be far away. Now he’s punching the ball and it falls close to the opposition,” he said as quoted by iDiski Times.
“Seasoned players, I mean, we’re not being harsh to players, but we need to be realistic. I mean the team lost. That ball was one-on-one. I think Chiefs could have drawn.

“If you don’t have a goalkeeper, it’s a problem, especially at a big team like Kaizer Chiefs. [Orlando] Pirates got one of the best goalkeepers [Sipho Chaine], especially in the country, Ronwen Williams, as well as Mamelodi Sundowns, it’s just Chiefs. As a big team, I think that’s where they are losing it to start off,” he concluded.
The next stop for Amakhosi will be at the FNB Stadium on May 3 where they will play Orlando Pirates in the PSL's Soweto derby.
