Former Kaizer Chiefs target Stephane Aziz Ki has penned a deal with Wydad Casablanca, who are strengthening their squad ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup and next season.
Aziz Ki was linked with, not only Amakhosi, but Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates as some points due to his impressive performances at Young Africans, especially last season.
The Burkina Faso international enjoyed a truly memorable 2023/24 season, highlighted by his sensational goal-scoring form.
He clinched the coveted Golden Boot in the NBC Premier League, finishing as the top scorer with an impressive 21 goals. These stellar performances, both in the domestic league and the demanding CAF Champions League, inevitably caught the eye of numerous major clubs.
Consequently, he found himself heavily linked with powerhouses such as Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, and even Egyptian giants Pyramids.
Wydad AC had long been keen on securing the services of Aziz Ki, actively pursuing him for a move to the Moroccan Botola Pro League even before the current season.

Despite their strong interest then, Aziz Ki chose to commit his future to Yanga by signing a new deal.
However, circumstances have now shifted, and the talented player has officially joined the Moroccan giants. He arrives at Wydad along with two other new signings, Noureddine Amrabat and Hamza Hanouri.
