Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has made another addition to his squad ahead of the January transfer window.
Zwane, now head coach of AmaZulu FC, has been boosted by the signing of highly-rated Zimbabwean midfielder Mason Mushore who arrives from Highlanders FC.
The Zimbabwean giants confirmed the departure of the 23-year-old to AmaZulu with the deal set to be completed on January 1, 2026.

“The club confirms that it has reached an agreement with AmaZulu FC for the permanent transfer of Mason Mushore, effective 1 January 2026,” the club confirmed in a statement.
“We are immensely grateful to Mason for his commitment, passion, and outstanding contributions during his time with us. Thank you for the memories. We wish you nothing but the very best as you embark on this exciting new chapter of your career.”
Mushore and Ngezi Platinum Stars player Takunda Benhura have been long linked to Usuthu and will be the latest Zimbabweans to play for the Durban-based club, joining Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya, who signed for AmaZulu six months ago.

Ngwenya has four goals in 12 games for AmaZulu this season and the two new recruits will hope to have a similar or bigger impact for the Zwane-coached club, which had a great first half of the season.
AmaZulu ended the year in fifth place on the PSL table with 24 points from 14 games, same as Zwane’s ex-club Chiefs, and just four behind log leaders Orlando Pirates, who have played two games less.
The arrival of Mushore is therefore set to further boost their quest to climb up the table as they eye another top eight finish.
