South Africa are set to host Nigeria on Tuesday evening in Group C of the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Bafana Bafana will qualify for the prestigious global competition for the first time since 2010 if they beat the Super Eagles and Benin drop points against Lesotho in another pool game set to be played on Tuesday as well.
Currently, Hugo Broos' men lead the race with 16 points, while Benin are on 11, one more than the Super Eagles. It explains why the West Africans have no option but to ensure they have beaten Bafana Bafana at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
