Finally! Sipho Mbule’s whereabouts explained by Orlando Pirates amid indiscipline speculations

South Africa international midfielder Sipho Mbule has been missing in action for the last three Orlando Pirates matches.

The 27-year-old was not part of the match-day squad against Casric Stars, Kaizer Chiefs, and most recently Polokwane City. The majority of the Sea Robbers supporters have been asking consistent questions about the former Mamelodi Sundowns player.

Rumours had it that the versatile midfielder was serving a suspension by the Soweto giants for a disciplinary breach, while others claimed the Sea Robbers were in the process of terminating his contract.

However, no one could authoritatively explain, and even when his agent Mike Makaab stated his client was injured, a section of the club supporters chose to believe him.

On Wednesday night, the Buccaneers will host Richards Bay at the Orlando Amstel Arena. The Soweto giants are aiming at getting maximum points to reclaim the top position from Mamelodi Sundowns who hit 47 points on Tuesday night after beating Orbit College 2-0.

Among the players who will be available for selection is Mbule, as the club confirmed he is now available after recovering from an injury.

“[Pirates] mission has been boosted by the availability of the in-form Kamogelo Sebelebele, who is eligible for selection after sitting out the trip to Polokwane through a one-match suspension,” Bucs’ media team reported.

“Midfielder Sipho Mbule is meanwhile back in contention for a place in the match day squad after a brief spell on the sidelines,” they added.

The Natal Rich Boys hope to cause an upset a couple of days after beating Kaizer Chiefs by a solitary goal in the last outing.
