Kaizer Chiefs fans are on cloud nine after the Glamour Boys made it two wins in a row, but a former Bafana Bafana and Tottenham Hotspur star has a word of caution for them.
With a 1-0 win over Polokwane City, courtesy of new signing Siphesihle Ndlovu, Chiefs are sitting pretty in second place on the Betway Premiership table.
While it's tempting to get carried away, former Bafana Bafana captain Bongani Khumalo, speaking on SuperSportTV's ExtraTime, said the team shouldn't get ahead of themselves.
He admitted that Chiefs are showing signs of a winning side, but he also pointed out that there are still some things that they need to sort out.

BONGANI KHUMALO ON CHIEFS – ‘THEY ARE IN GOOD FORM’
“It is very good (Chiefs' recent form), but it is important for the players to keep their feet on the ground,” Khumalo said as quoted by KickOff.com. “It is a very long season; it is not a cup competition.”
“So as much as there is joy and there is ease in how they have started, there is still a lot of work to be done. The performance against Stellenbosch was not a great performance, but it was a wonderful result.
“This time [against Polokwane City], the first half was not great, the second half was a lot better.
“So there are signs that something is brewing, so it is important that they remain calm and most importantly, stick together and see it through.”
