Sekhukhune United captain Daniel Cardoso is thrilled to see his former teammate, Sipho Mbule, get a fresh start with Orlando Pirates.
Mbule, who was let go by Mamelodi Sundowns due to alleged disciplinary problems, has a new opportunity to get his career back on track.
Despite his alleged off-field issues, Mbule was a key player for Sekhukhune during his loan spell last season. Cardoso has always been a staunch supporter of the midfielder's talent, even suggesting in the past that Mbule had the potential to play in top leagues abroad.
The former Glamour Boys defender confirmed his belief in the ‘Master Chef's' abilities. He expressed his delight that Mbule has been given a chance at a major club and stated that the rest of his journey is now in his own hands.

CARDSO HAPPY FOR SIPHO MBULE
“Yes, of course and as I said before, Sipho is one of the best talents that we have in our country,” Cardoso told iDiski Times.
“You know, he needs to realise that. He needs to wake up and realise that he has so much potential, and he has the world at his feet. And I’m glad that Pirates have given him the chance. So, I hope he takes this chance there, and he stops with whatever he’s doing and that he continues to shine.
“And I’m sure that he will. I think you only get a certain number of chances in football, and I think this time around he will take it with both hands, and I do wish all of the best, and I hope that he shines.”
