Newly promoted Orbit College FC are making bold moves both on and off the pitch as they gear up for their debut season in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership.
The club has officially unveiled a sleek new home kit designed by Umbro, hot on the heels of their headline-making loan signing of Monnapule Saleng from Orlando Pirates.
A Kit That Speaks Ambition
The new Orbit College 2025/26 home kit, features a crisp white base with bold accents, merging modern aesthetics with high-performance comfort. Umbro describes the design as “crisp, clean, iconic”—a fitting look for a club stepping into the national spotlight.
“This fresh look brings together bold design and next-level comfort to keep you game-day ready—whether you're in the stands or on the pitch,” Umbro said in a statement.

From Playoff Underdogs to Premiership Contenders
Orbit College’s rise to the top tier of South African football has been nothing short of remarkable. After finishing second in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, the Rustenburg-based side clinched promotion through the playoffs, edging out Cape Town Spurs and Casric Stars.
A decisive 1–0 victory over Cape Town Spurs, sealed by a composed finish from Letsie Koapeng, secured their place in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership.
The achievement marks a historic moment for the club and the North West province, which hasn’t had a top-flight representative since Platinum Stars exited the league in 2018.

Saleng Returns Home to Reignite His Career
In a move that has electrified the local football scene, Monnapule Saleng has joined Orbit College on loan from Orlando Pirates for the upcoming season.
The 27-year-old winger, once a fan favourite at Pirates, had been sidelined since late 2023 amid contract disputes and uncertainty about his future.
Now, Saleng returns to the club where his professional journey began, reuniting with head coach Pogiso Makhoye. The move is seen as both a personal revival as Saleng looks to regain his national team place and a strategic boost for Orbit’s attacking options.

Big League, Bigger Dreams
Orbit College’s promotion comes with significant financial and competitive benefits.
The club will now receive R2.5 million per month in league funding—five times more than what they earned in the Championship.
