Hugo Broos urged to consider an effective winger ‘who is among the best in Mzansi’

Bafana Bafana have been doing exceptionally well across all competitions in the last couple of years.

Recently, they sealed their place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which has given them an opportunity to compete with the best for the first time since 2010, when they hosted it. But before then, the country will play in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted in Morocco from December 21.

Siyanda Ndlovu Golden Arrows

Golden Arrows coach Manqoba Mngqithi believes his winger Siyanda Ndlovu should be considered by the Belgian owing to what he is doing for the club domestically.

In the 12 games played for Abafana Bes’thende, Ndlovu has managed to score three goals and provide five assists.

Broos asked to try Ndlovu

“This boy is just a marvel for me in many ways; that’s why I said it earlier; I look like a fool when I say he’s one of the players that should be looked at by the national team,” the former Sundowns coach told the media.

“It’s talent like this that defines our football in the country. When I look at him versus players that are in the national team or others that might have gotten opportunities to go outside the country, I’m saying, this boy deserves all that.

“Technically, he’s unbelievable, physically, he’ll surprise you. He covers so much ground, high-intensity runs, sprints, distance; technically, he hardly makes a mistake. He’s very clinical in front of goals, very clinical in his passing. He’s improved tremendously, creating situations for us and scoring critical goals for us,” he concluded.

Bafana Bafana are preparing to play Zambia on November 14 in an international friendly assignment.
