‘Is this Pirates team to play Tau’s Al Ahly? What did Chiefs do to deserve this happiness?’

Orlando Pirates were humbled on Sunday by Stellenbosch in the Premier Soccer League fixture staged at the Orlando Stadium.

Devon Titus scored the only goal in the 33rd minute to help Stellies get their revenge after the MTN8 final loss against the same opposition.

The Sea Robbers' loss was their first in the league after winning all their initial seven matches. It was also the second time this season the Buccaneers have lost a game across all competitions.

Have a look at what the fans said after the fixture.

I miss Saleng, I won't lie. Mohau Nkota is good but he is not there yet. Evidence Makgopa shouldn't have started the match. We need a player like Mabasa to break low blocks. Losing is part of the game. We take the loss. Now we will focus on Caf Champions League –  Mlalazi Tsepo

The starting eleven are beginning to be comfortable and if it is costing us the league, they can leave. No one is bigger than the team and lastly, I miss Saleng –  Lindokuhle Lindt Gumede

Nobody wins the Premier Soccer League after just seven games. I told them they insulted me instead – Insika YoMaskandi

Riveiro should rest Tito and Makhaula because they always play back passes while we are attacking. Try the combination of Miguel Timm, Thalente Mbatha, and Kabelo Dlamini, and trust me, we will win. But surely we will win this league by fire by force – Thabani Mdunge Styles Rsa

Tito must get off his high horse and play for the team – Gregory Mkhaya

This is the sign to show that Pirates won the MTN 8 through the backdoor – Ceeyten Comedian

Extremely disappointed with this result. I still maintain my view that we're just not ready for the league and continental titles. We're getting close but we still lack the ruthlessness required when we are in front of the goal and the resilience when we're not as sharp as we'd like – Mpendulo Mtshali

Is this the Orlando Pirates team that will play Percy Tau's Al Ahly in the Caf Champions League? – Dlala Provider

What did we do as Kaizer Chiefs fans to deserve so much happiness – Happy Keolebogile Matlou

It is unfortunate we lost but then, we hold our heads high. We are definitely going to bounce back and claim our right position the next game – Benjy Ntsako
