Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Sipho Chaine is impressed with the way his team stepped up to silence Mamelodi Sundowns to keep alive their dream of winning the MTN8 for the fourth time in a row.
The two semi-final legs ended 2-2 on aggregate, with the defending champions claiming a 4-1 win in the shoot-out to set up a final outing with Stellenbosch. Stellies beat Sekhukhune United in the other semi-final to make the last hurdle for the second year running.

The Bafana Bafana international has now reacted to the vital victory, but insisted it is not enough to get past a fancied Masandawana outfit. The reigning Premier Soccer League goalkeeper of the season insists the main achievement will be successfully defending their title.
The shot-stopper conceded it was not an easy fixture, but was happy with the determination to make the final.
‘It was one of the hardest games'
“[It was an] amazing day to play in front of Amabakhaniya again; what a game! For me personally, the game was very difficult in the beginning for each and every player,” he told the club's media team.
“It felt like [Saturday] was one of the hardest games I’ve ever played. On the back foot from the first half, on the back foot in the second half, but to be able to come back as a team and to be victorious today, to be smiling. It’s really amazing for me.
“I’m proud of the boys, I’m proud of the team. I think it’s not enough to win a semifinal. The most important thing is to come and play the final of the MTN8 and win it again,” Chaine concluded.
The next fixture for the Buccaneers will be on Tuesday at the Orlando Stadium against newcomers Orbit College.
