Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler is reportedly close to signing a new deal at the club after positive talks about his future.
The defender is among the longest-serving players within coach Nasreddine Nabi’s squad, having signed for Amakhosi in January 2021 from the now defunct Bidvest Wits, where he won two league titles.
Frosler’s stay at Chiefs has, however, been blighted by injuries but that has not stopped the club from believing in his qualities and they are ready to tie him down to a new three-year contract as per iDiski Times.

How has Frosler performed at Chiefs?
The right-back has made 158 appearances for Chiefs in his four years at the club, scoring two goals while providing 21 assists, including three assists in 21 matches this season, in what has been another poor campaign for Nabi’s side.
Chiefs are looking to tie down some of their long servants to new deals and have already agreed to extend the contract of captain Yusuf Maart as well as striker Ashley Du Preez.

Frosler has been available for most of this season but injuries had made his stay at Naturena difficult in previous seasons.
The right-back will hope to maintain his place in the team in the final weeks of the season as Chiefs look to improve on their eighth place on the table while he has a chance to win his first trophy with the Soweto giants as Amakhosi face rivals Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final on May 10.
