Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler has spoken out on his uncertain future at the club with the season slowly coming close to an end.
The right-back’s contract runs out at the of June this year. Frosler has been with the side for seven years now having joined in 2019 from the now-defunct Bidvest Wits.
He became key player for the Soweto giants, accumulating 158 appearances, scoring two goals and registering 12 assists in the process.
However, recently he has been plagued by injuries, limiting him to 21 appearances in all competition this season.
With two months left before the end of the season, Frosler, according to SABC Sport agreed a new deal in principle with Amakhosi.

However, speaking with the media, he said he doesn’t know what is going to happen with regards to his future with the club. But he expressed his desire to continue his stay at Naturena.

“So yeah, my contract is coming to an end soon. What I can say is that I can’t say much about it. [I] just got to see what happens in the next few months in the near future,” he said as quoted by FARPost.
“It’s been the club I love playing for. It’s been up and down, but one thing is that the club is professionally run, and you want to play for this club.
“I don’t think there is anyone who doesn’t want to play for this club. Whether I get the opportunity to stay here for longer, it would be lovely, and if I don’t, I will accept it and just be positive with whatever current deal expiring at the end of the season.”
