Kaizer Chiefs are currently on their best run of form in the PSL this season following their 2-0 win over TS Galaxy on Sunday.
Chiefs had never put together a four-match winning league run this campaign but have now done that after beating Durban City 1-0, Magesi FC 2-0, Orbit College 3-1 and the win over Galaxy.
The best league form before this had been a three-match winning run when the season started as Chiefs beat Stellenbosch 2-0, followed by identical 1-0 wins over Polokwane City and Richards Bay.
Do Amakhosi deserve more credit?

While Kaizer Chiefs have been heavily criticised for their inconsistencies, the Glamour Boys have actually made great progress.
Chiefs’ win over TS Galaxy made it four in a row, their best run of form this season, but most importantly, they now have 10 more points than they recorded last season.
Amakhosi managed a paltry 32 points as they finished ninth in 2024-25 but now third on the log with 42 points from 22 matches and with eight games still to play.

Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze feels their upturn in form is down to the high competition for places at the club.
The Glamour Boys have won four in a row to firm up third place and Kaze says every player is putting their best foot forward because they know their place in the team is under threat.
”We couldn’t keep the same line up [during that bad run], the players who were injured who are back are creating more competition, [Khanyisa] Mayo, [Sibongiseni Mthethwa] Ox, Ethan [Chislett], Given [Msimango], Bradley [Cross] are all back, having more choices makes the team better in all ways,” said Kaze as per iDiski Times.
