Kaizer Chiefs loanees set to face each other

Kaizer Chiefs loanee Xolani Cossa is relishing the prospect of facing former teammate Sima Bobo in the Botswana Orange FA Cup quarter-finals.

“I’m happy for the team that we have secured a spot in the quarter-finals, and I’m very happy with how the gents performed in that game,” Cossa told FARPost.

“We are pleased to face Mochudi Centre Chiefs, and fortunately, I’ll be playing against my former teammate Sima Bobo,” he said.

“But I’m happy to face them because I think now, we deserve a chance to win against them. Given our structure and team approach, I think we’ll beat them and advance to the next stage,” he added.

Frosler determined to make up for lost time

Kaizer Chiefs right-back Reeve Frosler has reflected on his injury layoff, revealing how he found a positive in the setback.

Frosler made his return to competitive action in Chiefs’ 4-1 thrashing of Magesi FC in the PSL at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium last Wednesday.

“Being out injured is no fun for any player, and I’m no different. It was difficult from that point of view, but the setback turned out to be good timing because my wife and I were expecting our second-born, and being at home, I could help her around the house. It was a great feeling to get back on the field again, though,” the right-back opened up.

“It is always nice to make a contribution. The good first-half performance of the team made it easy for me to come in. We were two goals up already and playing on the front foot,” he added.

Chiefs told what to achieve for club and fans

Kaizer Chiefs are fighting to finish at least in third position in the Betway Premiership League, and former Amakhosi defender Dominic Isaacs believes they should do it for themselves and their supporters.

“So, and now they are just playing with no pressure, they are playing for a Confederation Cup spot, which is number three, and that has to be possible. They have to reach that goal.

“At least they have to do that for their supporters and everybody, and even for themselves. More importantly for themselves. So, they can’t come to the end of the season, and then they say they haven’t achieved anything. At least that’s one they can achieve,” he concluded.
