Maboe and four players who might miss Sundowns clash
Lebohang Maboe headlines a list of five Kaizer Chiefs players walking on a suspension tightrope ahead of facing Mamelodi Sundowns in a match that could be significant in the Betway Premiership title race.
If selected to play on Wednesday, striker Flavio da Silva will be playing with caution as he is on three yellow cards.

Maboe has been impressive in recent games and would want to be available to face his former club, Sundowns. That is subject to him not being yellow-carded against Siwelele. Other Amakhosi stars going into the Siwelele encounter walking on eggshells are Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Mfundo Vilakazi and Siphesihle Ndlovu.
Bimenyimana opens up about Chiefs exit
Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana has backed the club’s resurgence while reflecting on his departure and his stint in Saudi Arabia.
“I am aware that when I left Chiefs, some fans were against me, but I didn’t take it to heart. I leave everything in God’s hands. As a Christian, I believe everything happens for a reason,” he told FARPost.
“I’ve kept in touch with my former teammates… they were very warm toward me during my time there, and we remain friends. Whenever I don’t have training or a match, I watch Kaizer Chiefs. I love the team. I’ve been really impressed by their progress. They are doing amazing things, but I still think there is more to come from them.
“I know Coach Cedric Kaze well, and I know what he is capable of; I believe both the coaches and the players can push even further. After finishing outside the top eight last season, I’m confident they will maintain the gap, secure a Top Eight finish, and compete for a CAF Confed Cup spot.

As for my time in Saudi Arabia, the league here is excellent and very competitive,” Bimenyimana concluded.
McCarthy ready for Siwelele
Kaizer Chiefs defender Aden McCarthy says that he is fit and ready for their Betway Premiership encounter against Siwelele FC on Wednesday evening.
“I am good. In the previous game I had stiffness in my left hamstring, so it was a precaution move to be substituted. It wasn’t an injury. I have recovered and I’m ready for the game.Playing in Bloemfontein is not extra special, but it’s sentimental to me because it was where my father started playing. So yeah, I’m looking forward to that,” said as quoted by Soccer Laduma.
“I’m feeling confident. Siwelele FC is a good team. They managed to all the draw against Pirates and we shouldn’t overlook the individuals they have in their team and it’ll be a good and tough game.

“I think going towards the end of the season, we just need to do the most as a team and make sure we get three points every game,” McCarthy concluded.
