Kaizer Chiefs Ladies are eyeing the top flight—and head coach Unathi Mabena has revealed exactly when the club expects to gain promotion from the Sasol League to the Hollywoodbets Super League.

Mabena made history as the first-ever head coach of the newly launched Amakhosi women’s side, which boasts an initial squad depth of 24 players. The Chiefs Ladies’ side is set to begin its journey in the Sasol League, the second tier of women’s football in South Africa.

The team was officially unveiled on Tuesday, 31 March, in Daveyton, marking a significant milestone for the Soweto giants. Chiefs’ Ladies will host their home fixtures at the Kaizer Chiefs Village in Naturena. They will also play some of their games at Kwa Thema Stadium in Springs. Mabena will lead the technical team, assisted by coach Justice Khunou
