Kaizer Chiefs have officially announced the signing of midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu, further strengthening their squad for the 2025-26 season.

Ndlovu joins the Glamour Boys on a three-year contract after Chiefs and SuperSport United agreed on a transfer fee.

The move follows SuperSport's sale of their Premiership status to Siwelele FC and their subsequent withdrawal from top-flight football.

The 28-year-old is expected to join his new team-mates in the Netherlands in the coming days for their pre-season training camp.

He becomes Chiefs’ sixth signing of the transfer window, following defenders Nkanyiso Shinga, Thabiso Monyane, and Paseka Mako, midfielder Ethan Chislett, and forward Flavio Silva.

Ndlovu had a strong 2024/25 season with SuperSport United, making 28 appearances across all competitions. Chiefs welcomed the former Orlando Pirates player, believing he will bolster their midfield options.

In their official statement, Kaizer Chiefs highlighted Ndlovu's experience and skill, stating that he “will add skill and valuable experience to Amakhosi’s midfield.” The club confirmed that Ndlovu will join the squad in the Netherlands for pre-season once travel arrangements are finalised.

Chiefs arrived in the Dutch town of Apeldoorn, 80 kilometers from Amsterdam, on Friday, July 4th, for their pre-season camp. They are scheduled to return to South Africa on Saturday, July 19th, 2025.

They will play five friendly matches, three against Eredivisie sides, and two with second tier clubs before they return home for the Toyota Cup against Ghana giants Asante Kotoko ahead of the PSL kick off on August 8.
