‘Kaizer Chiefs’ win changes nothing; shame no one cares! I will come back when Motaung Jr. resigns’

Kaizer Chiefs returned to winning ways last weekend with a 1-0 win over Durban City in the Premier Soccer League.

The Democratic Republic of Congo international Glody Lilepo did well to connect a Mfundo Vilakazi assist to win it for the Glamour Boys.

It was a result that took them fifth on the table with 33 points from 19 games, two less than their competitors.

The majority of their supporters are not convinced that their team is on the right track. Have a look at what they are saying, as compiled by Afrik-Foot.

Kaizer Chiefs beat Sundowns and we might forgive you

Chiefs’ win changed nothing. The team is badly managed, badly coached, and the players are playing nonsense – Sannin

Glody Lilepo is our best CF. I don’t know why he keeps being played on the wing.  Anyway, I don’t belong to a Branch, so whatever – T-Dee

Shame. No one even cares! Just beat Mamelodi Sundowns, and we might forgive you – Ngimuhlez

I’ll never again waste my time on this club. Never. I’ll come back when Motaung Junior has resigned – Edo

Knowing Chiefs supporters, they’ll be celebrating a 1-0 win while we played against a not-so-good Durban City, by the way, Lilepo must play as a striker – Bobo Chippa

Kaizer Chiefs fans let’s keep stadiums empty

When we want Kaizer Chiefs to win, they lose; when we want them to lose, they win – Kutumela

We certainly don’t have a team here. Poor performance. Amateur football – Thabo Rehlamfu

Better second-half performance, but we need to score more than just 1 goal in our games. Our attackers really need to step up. Still not convinced with our defense pairing and Miguel. We have a lot to improve, hopefully we get it right as the season progresses – Vusumuzi Ngwenya

Almost gave it away around the 94th minute! The players need some serious coaching, this ting of not even knowing what type of football we’re playing. Slow in transition, weak counters and can’t even make 4 passes – Lazzy Laden

Let us keep the Stadiums empty until they fix our team, Kaizer Chiefs – Wisani Dee Mboweni
