Premier Soccer League champions Mamelodi Sundowns might end up losing their dependable Bafana Bafana international defender Khuliso Mudau.
The 30-year-old has been serving Masandawana since 2020, when he joined from the Black Leopards. He rose through the ranks and has since been formidable at right back for both the Brazilians and the national team, Bafana Bafana.

His exploits have initially attracted some top teams from both the continent and Europe. The versatile defender is currently with Sundowns in the United States for the Fifa Club World Cup that will be played from June 14 to July 13.
Mudau's agent Steve Kapeluschnik, insists no agreement has been reached regarding the extension of the current deal that expires at the end of June.
‘No agreement yet'
Potentially, Mudau might walk away after the Fifa Club World Cup as a free agent if Sundowns don't exercise their option of extending the deal by a year.
“We have been negotiating for some time now but we haven't found each other yet on a new deal. There is no agreement on a new contract yet,” Kapeluschnik told SNL 24 when asked about the future of his client.
“Yes, it's believed that the new deal is not yet concluded as talks are ongoing but the club is using its power to exercise the one-year option they have. That's what they are apparently looking at for now while a new deal is being negotiated.
“They still value him and that's why they took him to the Club World Cup. Maybe talks will resume after that,” the publication further reported.
