Kaizer Chiefs legend Itumeleng Khune has given Amakhosi management an advice with regards to their coach Nasreddine Nabi.
The SA publication TimesLIVE reported that the Tunisian coach was set to be axed following inconsistent performances this season.
The report came out despite him winning the Nedbank Cup trophy where he ended the club’s ten-year trophy drought.
The Glamour Boys had not lifted major silverware since Stuart Baxter guided them to the Absa Premiership title on May 9, 2015, at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha. This long wait made the last weekend's triumph all the sweeter for their supporters.
Khune says the Tunisian tactician deserves to be given more time to build his team, especially with positive signs after ending a ten-year trophy drought.

KHUNE ON NABI – ‘HE SHOULD BE GIVEN MORE TIME’
“I think, my personal opinion, he should be given more time,” said Khune during his interview with Soccer Laduma.
“He has built something very special. Yes, Chiefs have been inconsistent in the league, but they broke the drought by winning the cup. So, it's a sign of good things to come.
He continued, “Obviously, MTN8 is around the corner. The league, again, it's a marathon. Then you have the Black Label Cup, you have Nedbank Cup, and you have CAF Confederation Cup that you need to focus on.
“Coach Nabi has already built a foundation. If I were Kaizer Chiefs, I was going to give him more time to be the driver of the train or the bus. Because if you want to change him now, someone who's going to come in again, he's going to be in the building phase.”
