Kwayiba eyes “Big Three” move after Bafana heroics

Published on by

Fresh off scoring his debut Bafana Bafana goal and being named Man of the Match in Tuesday night's 2-0 victory over Mozambique, Sinoxolo Kwayiba has openly expressed his ambition to join one of South Africa's “Big Three” clubs next season.

The 25-year-old striker's stock is undeniably on the rise after his impressive performance for the national team.

Currently plying his trade with Chippa United, Kwayiba's revelation comes amidst swirling transfer speculation.

His current club, Chippa United have already reached an agreement with Orlando Pirates, placing the Buccaneers in pole position to secure his services.

However, Kwayiba's direct statement about wanting to play for either Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, or Mamelodi Sundowns in the 2025/26 season adds an intriguing layer to his future.

His desire to compete at the highest level of South African football is clear, and his recent exploits with Bafana Bafana only strengthen his case for a high-profile move.

This eagerly anticipated transfer saga will undoubtedly be one to watch as the new season approaches.

‘I AM HOPING TO PLAY FOR ANY CLUB BETWEEN THE BIG THREE’

“I’m happy for the performance of today, but I want to do more. Let’s hope it’s gonna happen,” he said on SABC3 as quoted by iDiski Times.

“I’m hoping to play for a big team and then after going to play overseas – that’s my dream and it’s gonna happen.

“A team of the big-three, I won’t mention any names. I won’t mention anyone but I want to play for the one of three.”
