Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari recently claimed he is not the only one to blame for the team's struggle to keep clean sheets.
The former TS Galaxy player has played seven competitive games for the Glamour Boys this season. He has kept one clean sheet and conceded 11 goals in the remaining six outings. In the PSL, the Rwanda international has conceded in all the five games he has started.
The 25-year-old stated other players have to step up as well to ensure Amakhosi don't concede easy goals. Have a look at what the fans said.
Ntwari is speaking the truth but he is an open net
Ntwari is speaking the truth the problems the club has can't be just fixed overnight it has been a 10 years problem and it needs patience there's a lot that needs to be done at the club so that the players can get in the right direction – Kumkani Ferguson
Spot on! Ntwari's adaptation to Chiefs won't happen in the blink of an eye, supporters need to calm down! – Edward Manong
The main problem is the person who brought him to Kaizer Chiefs. Look now chiefs fans have no choice but to look the other way or close their eyes whenever any opponent is approaching the 18 area. It's a known fact that Ntwari is an open net – Scara Wale Buccaneer
The thing is Kaizer Chiefs fans don't listen, even their coach told them to forget about official trophies unless it's woodwork. To stop putting unnecessary pressure on the team, but they'd rather attack the match officials, hooligans – Thapelo Snr Tau
This fanbase must leave Ntwari alone, as Downs and Bucs fans love him..a very good goalkeeper this one – Khumesh Nkuli Ngobese
Even Khune is better then Ntwari in his old age
Had it not been for this goalkeeper, Chiefs could have lost around 7/8-0 against Sundowns. Where were the other 10 players who were supposed to help him? – Laki Matlou
Although I partially agree with him, personally I don't think he is making things better but instead worse. Over the past weekend, the goalkeeping department was better without him. Most of the goals they scored could have been stopped. He should forget about passionate fans and focus on what he does – Makatsi Mkhabela
The problem at Chiefs is in the midfield. They don't have a rock-solid central defensive midfielder and it exposes the defense. Look at the goals they conceded against sundowns in both games – Lehlaka Mojapelo
Ntwari is already feeling the pressure but as long it does not affect Orlando Pirates' 21 points – Nthabeleng Lefatle
Ntwari can't be speaking like this yet he repeats the very same mistakes every match. It shows no growth, even Itumeleng Khune would perform better than him at his old age. This guy is just coming up with unnecessary excuses. He must accept he's not ready to carry this biggest team in South Africa – Boitumelo Thakholi
