Mamelodi Sundowns moved to the top of the Premier Soccer League log thanks to their convincing 4-1 win over Chippa United on Friday night at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

The victory took them to 53 points from 22 games, two points more than Orlando Pirates, who are second on the table. Furthermore, it kept alive their hope of winning the South African top-flight crown for the ninth season in a row.
