Orlando Pirates fell 2-1 against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League meeting that was played at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday night.

Brayan Leon scored a brace for the defending champions, while the Sea Robbers got their sole strike through Patrick Maswanganyi. The win reduced the gap between the Brazilians and the Soweto giants to just three points.
